ABOUT THE BAND:
Female-fronted hard rock quartet Hastang first burst into the Cebuano music scene in the summer of 2005 when they made it to the finals of the MTV Hits Cebu Band Showdown with a lacerating original composition called “Oblivion”. Fittingly, the indie band has picked the same song from their upcoming debut release as its carrier single and the first ever music video in the band’s discography.
Producing a music video is definitely a big step forward for this band, which just completed the recording of their first album last year. The record will contain eleven original songs composed and arranged by the band members including “Oblivion”, one of the first songs they’ve written as a group.
